Namaste

I believe yoga has the power to strengthen and empower us - both mentally and physically. Through the years my practice has helped me build resilience in my body, clarity in my mind, and confidence to rise above life's challenges. It has allowed me to stand taller and shine brighter. 

My intention is to share that light with you and guide you in discovering your own strength within.

My Story

Movement has always been part of who I am. Growing up, I was constantly active - track, cross country, softball, basketball, dance, gymnastics. I loved feeling strong, flexible, and capable in my body. Even through injuries and setbacks, I never wanted to stop moving.

As I got older, that passion evolved into dance, boxing, running, and personal training sessions on my own. I was in constant motion. I would be stretching between conversations, releasing tension where ever I was, and chasing that feeling of balance in my body. 

Everything shifted when a friend invited me to my first hot yoga class. I immediately felt at home in the combination of strength and softness, tension and release. The mindful guidance from the instructor, the breath work, and the heat. It quieted my mind in a way nothing else had. I felt grounded, calm, and complete. I was hooked. 

When I moved to New York, hot yoga became my anchor. Practicing four to five times a week, it became my daily reset. A time to enter a space where I could set aside thoughts, breathe deeply, and return to my presence. Over time I began noticing something deeper in my practice. I felt emotions releasing, clarity surfacing, and a sense of lightness and openness that extended beyond the mat, beyond the studio and into my daily life.

After experiencing a major injury and a difficult chapter in my life, yoga became more than a work out. It became more of a life line. After a time of limited mobility and mental overwhelm, the practice helped me rebuild not just physically but mentally and emotionally. Therapy supported my healing, but yoga carried me through my day to day. It helped me reconnect with my strength and feel safe in my body again. It helped me draw out my resilience when I needed it the most. I helped me reclaim my light.

As yoga became such an integral part of my rebuilding, I felt a natural desire to share it. I began guiding family and friends through simple, mindful flows - on hikes, beaches, living rooms, wherever we were. What started as small moments of movement and breath became a way to connect more deeply with each other and ourselves, to support others, and hold space for healing beyond myself.

Today, my practice is rooted in empowerment , presence, and resilience. Yoga is not just stretching or stillness. It's layered, transformative, and deeply personal. My intention is to create spaces where you feel strong, safe, and supported wherever you are in your journey.
